Notes:	If you or someone you have had close contact with has tested positive for COVID 19, FLU, has a fever or is showing any possible signs of illness, please do not attend a CPR Works training for 2 weeks or 14 days after the last symptom (fever, consistent cough, lethargy, and runny noses). Please contact us for other options. If a student shows up with symptoms, the instructor will politely ask you to reschedule for another time.

The American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers(BLS) Course(3 hours in length) is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

This course is for healthcare professionals including nursing, dental, pre med, phyical therapy, personal trainers and any other healthcare provider who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

BLS Manual Policy:

A "BLS Providers Manual" is required if you are an initial student. If you are renewing your card, the manual is optional. Please bring your old card and picture ID to class.

We ONLY offer digital E Books. If you purchase a manual an online access code will be emailed to you along with instructions on how to access it. If you prefer a paper manual they can be purchased at other sites like Amazon.com, aedsuperstore.com and etc.

Payment Policy

The cost is $64.95. Payment must be paid in full online to reserve your space. If other arrangements need to be made please call or email us.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Students must give CPR Works a 48 hour notice to either cancel their reservation or to re-schedule their course. Please read details below:

A complete cancellation will result in a 50% refund.
A re-schedule request (with at least a 48 hour notice) will result in ONE re-schedule opportunity per student.
Students who fail to provide a 48 hour notice for a re-schedule will still be able to re-schedule to a later date at the cost of 50% of the course registration fee.

AHA Card Policy

All CPR Works Courses come with an AHA e-card that will be emailed to you on the same day of your course. Your employer or school will be able to confirm the completion of this course online at heart.org/mycards. You will also be able to access and print an online certificate including a wallet card through the AHA website and view your card on your mobile device.

Your employer and school will accept an E-Card, you can print a copy of it for your file or email a copy or save it and upload it to your school or employer.

eCard FAQs

What is an eCard?

An AHA eCard is the electronic equivalent of a printed course completion card and can be provided to students as an alternative to a printed card. eCards are valid course completion cards and can be presented to employers as proof of successful completion of an AHA course. Like printed cards, eCards also expire two years from the issue date.

Is there a way employers or schools can verify the authenticity of an AHA eCard?

Yes, employers and schools may verify that an AHA eCard is authentic by entering the card information at www.heart.org/cpr/mycards.

Are AHA eCards secure?

AHA eCards are more secure than printed cards. A three-point verification by the TCC, Instructor and student, is required to issue and claim eCards. eCard information is populated electronically by the TCC or Instructor and can only be altered by the TCC or AHA Customer Service by using AHA’s My Cards™. eCards can be easily verified by employers at www.heart.org/cpr/mycards to prove issuance by a valid TC and Instructor aligned with that TC.

Can an eCard be Printed?

Yes. An AHA eCard can be printed by the student.

Claim your eCard via Email:

You will receive an email from eCards@heart.org with a link inviting you to claim your eCard online. Please make sure to check your spam or junk folder. This link will direct you to the Student Profile webpage; please confirm that all information on that page (First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number (if entered for claiming by SMS), eCard Code, AHA Instructor Name, and Training Center information) is correct. If it is not, contact your Training Center.

Claim your eCard via SMS text:

During or after class, (if your Instructor or Training Center has entered your mobile phone number into the eCard system) opt-in to claim/view your eCard by texting “eCard” to the number 51736.
If the message is sent correctly per the guidance of your Instructor, you will receive instructions via text message on how to claim your eCard.
If a you attempt to opt-in and your number is not in the system, you will receive a message that your phone number was not found.
